Promise I haven't forgotten about you guys. Not much has been going on, but here's an update nonetheless. When I moved to my apartment, I quit my job at the Hampton Inn and now I've started working at the local library that I worked at through college. So I'm back to 2 jobs, again. It's a nice relaxing job and I'm working about the same number of hours that I was before. I've been in the apartment for about a month and a half and I'm loving every mintue of it. Shortly after I moved in, a friend from college put on an apartment warming party and it was a lot of fun. It was great to have everyone over to see where I live and entertain in my own place finally. Thanks to everyone for the great gifts! I now have lots of pantry items, food storage and other fun stuff. I'm having a Pampered Chef party soon, so I'll get more hostessing experience through that. One thing that I've discovered (not like it was a surprise, though) is that money is tiiiiiight when you're supporting yourself and becoming a full-fledged member of society. Suddenly I find that I can't buy that pair of shoes just because I want to. It isn't in the BUDGET. Yet another lovely concept that I'm beginning to work on...... So to all those people out there struggling with paying college loans, car loans, insurance, water, electric, and RENT(just to name a few)....you're not alone.

Budgets suck. I hate 'em. We should all just make more money.
